Been a while since I've done a DVD post, but it hasn't meant I've stopped buying. No, no, I've wasted sooo much money on DVDs... Also, I was thinking about giving DVDs (not from my collection) as gifts, and how hard it is knowing what people have (as often seems to be Kandace's/Rick's problem). because unlike you, mr doesn't like any English comedy (red dwarf, black books, blackadder...) or any anime - I have taste.

THAT is the movie you choose to mock? The one which is so bad it's funny and on everyone's B-list? Why not Dark Star (another gift, admittedly), It Came From Outer Space (another gift, admittedly), or the 6th day? (multi-movie pack I bought for Last Action Hero).

Actually, don't you own D&D too?

Unless you're talking about the cartoon, in which case... yeah, it really wasn't as good as I remember it as a kid :-P

Delicatessen - great movie, both cute and weird. I also want to get "City of Lost Children".
Men with Brooms - okay, I only really got it because Paul Gross was in it, and it was cheap. Not a bad movie, very day-time-tv.
O Brother Where Art Thou - one of the best movies on my list, and probably the only one I've paid full price for.
Steamboy - it was alright. Pretty good, esp if you like steampunk.

I presume you've seen most of the movies on my list, like Memento, Big Fish, Natural Born Killers and Ravenous? (If not, go watch it with Stephen)

Have you seen the Zoolander DVD? Not the movie itself, but have you watched all the extras on the DVD, or even just watched the DVD menu? So funny I bought the DVD not for the movie, but the extras.

No, I haven't. Funny how? What's there? I didn't think all that much of the movie itself. Watchable, good moments, but some of the over-the-top-ness just kinda grated a bit.
